Equally suitable for both the welding enthusiast and the professional that is in need of a well equipped AC/DC TIG welder, the Everlast PowerTIG 250EX is a versatile solution. Not only is it versatile, it's a true performer, putting out 250 amps of TIG welding power on single phase 240V, with a 60% duty cycle while doing so. Feature for feature though, it delivers as well.

The unit is equipped with items like fully adjustable pulse, AC frequency, AC balance control, stick function with arc force control, and 2T/4T remote control functions. It even includes a spot weld timer for those needing to make routine, perfectly timed spot welds on sheet metal.

The IGBT inverter module reduces size and weight of the unit and keeps it portable. The welder will operate efficiently on both 240V single phase, and 240V 3 phase power.

For those needing to weld thin gauge material, the unit features low amp start capability in both AC and DC modes, down to 5 amps. The PowerTIG 250EX has built a name for itself in the industry as a capable and economical welder and the latest generation continues that legacy. 1 and 3 phase operation 240V (minimum voltage 208 V). Infineon IGBT Power Modules increase reliability and performance.

Low as 5 amp Start for TIG in AC and DC modes (+/- 2 amps). 2T/4T amp/slope parameters for welding with torch switch. Pre flow and Post flow control for maximum shielding gas protection before and after. Improved HF start circuit for reduced maintenance issues.

Lift Start function for use when HF is not desireable. Expanded AC cleaning range offers the most adjustability in its class for optimum aluminum welding performance. Color coded controls are easy to find and understand. Arc force control for stick reduces spatter and helps improve arc performance in short arc conditions. Pulse up to 500 Hz in AC or DC modes.

Built in 240V receptacle for PowerCool 300 water cooler. Everlast 18 Series TIG torch with 35 series DINSE style connectors and torch switch for 2T/4T operation. Stick electrode holder with 10 ft. Cable and 35 series DINSE style connectors. Work clamp with 10 ft. Cable and DINSE style connectors. Everlast regulator made from billet brass. 6 ft Power input cable.
